The dictionary definition of paraphernalia: Miscellaneous articles, especially the equipment needed for a particular activity.

Welcome to Fitphernalia, where you’ll find ‘Miscellaneous articles’, providing the ‘equipment’ (expert tips, new gear releases, class previews and more) you need for the ‘particular activity’ of getting fit.

Hola, I’m Jess – a health and fitness journalist of seven years standing. I’ve written about getting sweaty for the likes of Sunday Times Style and guardian.co.uk and am the former features editor of Top Santé magazine. Naturally unsporty, I’ve been amazed by what my body can achieve when I make it try (I’m looking at you half marathons). Say hello to my discerningly random edit of everything new in fitness that I hope will help you to rock your body, too. Boring old aerobics classes need not apply.

Why not?
